Te mapa
Very little of Wuqiao is flat. Like much of eastern Chongqing, the town is built on uneven ground, and its streets bend to follow the contours instead of forming blocks. From above, roads curve and double back, and buildings gather in terraces. The result is an organic, almost hand-drawn street pattern.
The town lies in the wider Yangtze basin, a region of steep hills, deep valleys and farmland terraced into the slopes. On a map, this terrain shows up in the spacing of streets: tight clusters where the ground allows, and long, looping connections where it doesn't. Every line reflects the shape of the land beneath it.
A Wuqiao map poster suits anyone who knows the town personally, whether they grew up there, have family there, or passed through on a journey along the upper Yangtze. It shows the place as a real network of streets, without landmarks or labels, and lets the geography speak for itself.
Roads trace the hillsides rather than cutting straight across them. This produces the curving, layered lines that make towns in Chongqing so recognisable from above.
Wherever the slope eases, buildings pack closely together. These dense pockets stand out in the print as darker patches linked by winding roads.
Beyond the built-up area, the map opens into rural slopes crossed by a few thin tracks. The empty space frames the town clearly.

Koteā ko Wuqiao
This is a map for someone with a personal connection to eastern Chongqing. It shows a place that rarely appears on posters, and the curving street pattern makes a striking abstract composition even for people who have never been there.
