Te mapa
Zuénoula lies in the Marahoué region of central-west Ivory Coast, in the transition zone where the southern forests give way to more open savanna. The town is the seat of its department, and on the map its centre forms a compact cluster of streets from which roads leave in several directions toward the surrounding villages and farmland.
The countryside around Zuénoula is largely agricultural, with cash crops and food crops grown in fields interspersed with woodland. Beyond the paved routes, much of the network consists of unsealed roads and tracks, which appear on the map as thinner lines threading between the plots and linking scattered settlements across gently undulating terrain.
A Zuénoula map poster presents the town within its landscape: the denser streets of the centre, the roads reaching outward and the looser pattern of neighbourhoods at the edges. For people from the Marahoué who now live in Abidjan or abroad, it is a clear, personal and lasting image of home.
The town centre forms the densest part of the map, a small network of streets around the administrative core from which the rest of the town spreads outward.
Several roads leave the town toward neighbouring localities, drawing long lines across the countryside that give the poster a clear, star-like structure.
Around the town, fields and patches of woodland alternate across gently rolling land, a transitional landscape between the forested south and the savanna north.
