The map
Yangiyŭl lies a short distance southwest of Tashkent, in the irrigated lowland of the Chirchiq valley. Its name means "new road" in Uzbek, and the town grew along transport routes. A railway runs through it, and the main streets are mostly straight and orderly, in keeping with its twentieth-century development.
Around the town, the map shows the fine geometry of irrigated farmland: rectangular fields, drainage and supply canals, and roads that follow them. Industrial areas sit near the railway, and residential blocks fill the space between the main axes. The overall picture is practical and regular.
A Yangiyŭl map poster turns this working landscape into a clean composition. The rail line and main avenues provide structure, and the field pattern adds texture at the edges. It is a precise image of a town shaped by transport and water in the Tashkent region.
The railway passes through the town. Its long straight line is the backbone that industrial zones and main streets organise themselves around.
Most main streets run in clear, regular lines. They give the centre an ordered, easily read layout typical of Soviet-era planning.
Rectangular plots and canals surround the town, giving the edges of the map a fine, repeated texture that contrasts with the built core.
