The map
Yew Tee is a residential neighbourhood in the northwest of Singapore, within the Choa Chu Kang planning area. Like much of the island's newer housing, it was planned as a whole, with high-rise Housing and Development Board blocks arranged in clusters around shared courtyards, playgrounds and car parks, and served by schools and a neighbourhood centre.
The North South Line of the MRT runs through on an elevated viaduct, and Yew Tee station, with the shopping mall beside it, is the focus of daily life. From above, the rail line reads as a firm straight stroke, while the housing clusters on either side form a repeating, carefully ordered pattern.
Beyond the estates, the map opens toward greener land in the north and west of the island. A Yew Tee map poster captures the particular geometry of Singapore's planned towns: block outlines set at angles, looping service roads and park connectors threading between them. It is precise, calm and instantly familiar to residents.
The North South Line crosses the neighbourhood on a raised viaduct, drawing a strong, straight line through the estates with Yew Tee station at its centre.
Groups of high-rise blocks form rhythmic, angular shapes on the map, separated by courtyards, car parks and short internal roads.
Parks, park connectors and patches of undeveloped land soften the neighbourhood's edges, especially toward the less built-up north of the island.

Why Yew Tee
Many Singaporeans remember their first HDB flat, the block number and the walk to the station. A map of Yew Tee keeps those everyday routes in view and makes a thoughtful housewarming gift for someone collecting their keys.
Put your block, street or family name in the title, add the move-in date as a subtitle and fine-tune the coordinates line. Five styles are available, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, as $9 digital files or a printed poster.
