The map
Atibaia lies about an hour north of São Paulo, in hilly country at the edge of the Serra da Mantiqueira. On a map the town is shaped by relief: streets curve around slopes, neighbourhoods follow ridgelines, and the Atibaia River loops through the lower ground. The Fernão Dias highway runs past, a straight line cutting across an otherwise winding pattern.
The town is widely known for its annual flower and strawberry festival, and for the surrounding farms that supply both. Its best-known natural landmark is Pedra Grande, a large granite outcrop above the town popular with hikers and hang-gliding pilots. Many residents of São Paulo keep weekend houses here, and the outskirts are full of looping residential roads and small estates.
An Atibaia map poster shows the character of a hill town clearly: a compact centre in the valley, scattered neighbourhoods on the slopes, and empty space where the granite heights rise. The river's meanders add a softer, organic line to the composition. It is a good choice for anyone who knows the town from weekends, holidays or daily life.
The granite outcrop above town appears as an area of open high ground, with trails and access roads approaching it from the lower neighbourhoods.
The river meanders across the valley floor, bending through the lower parts of town and giving the map a soft, curving counterpoint to the hillside streets.
The highway linking São Paulo and Belo Horizonte passes the town as a long, confident line, contrasting with the looping local roads around it.

Why Atibaia
Atibaia is a place many people associate with rest: a weekend house, a family farm, a festival visit. A map of its hills and river brings that feeling into everyday rooms without resorting to bright postcard imagery.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with the name of a house or a year. Choose among Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, as digital files or a printed poster with optional wooden frame.
