About this Attibele map poster
Attibele lies on the southern edge of Bengaluru's metropolitan area, right at the border between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. The main feature on the map is the national highway running through it, the road to Hosur and beyond. The town grew along this route, and its streets branch off the highway in both directions, forming an irregular web.
To the north, industrial parks and new housing stretch toward Electronic City, and the pattern becomes more planned, with rectangular blocks and wide roads. To the south, across the state line, Hosur's outskirts continue the development. Between them, patches of farmland, lakes and older village cores survive among the new construction.
