The map
Cajamar lies in the metropolitan area of São Paulo, northwest of the capital, on hilly ground of the Serra da Cantareira foothills. From above, its neighbourhoods are scattered across valleys and slopes, connected by winding roads. Two of Brazil's busiest highways, the Anhanguera and the Bandeirantes, pass close by and shape the town's development.
Thanks to its position between São Paulo and the interior, Cajamar has become one of the country's largest logistics hubs. Many distribution centres for major retailers and e-commerce companies stand along the highways, and their large rectangular warehouses are clearly visible on the map.
A Cajamar map poster shows a striking contrast: the natural, winding streets of residential areas next to the huge, geometric forms of logistics parks. The hills leave wide green spaces between them, giving the print an unusual composition.
The Anhanguera and Bandeirantes run near the town as long, straight lines, and much of Cajamar's growth follows them.
Large warehouse complexes cluster near the highways. On the poster they appear as wide rectangular blocks, very different from the housing streets.
Residential areas sit in valleys and on slopes, separated by green hills. Their curving roads give the map a looser, more organic texture.

Why Cajamar
Cajamar is home to many people who work in logistics and commute across greater São Paulo. A map of the town gives a clear picture of the place they know, with its hills and highways.
