The map
Osasco lies immediately west of São Paulo, part of the same continuous metropolitan fabric. The Tietê River crosses the city, flanked by rail lines and major roads, and the map shows neighbourhoods spreading up the surrounding hills in dense, irregular grids. Industrial areas, rail yards and highway interchanges fill much of the flatter ground near the river.
Once a district of São Paulo, Osasco became an independent municipality in 1962 and grew into one of the largest cities in the state. It developed around the railway and early factories, and later became a significant business centre: Bradesco, one of Brazil's largest banks, has its headquarters complex, known as Cidade de Deus, here. The Castelo Branco highway runs through the city toward the interior.
An Osasco map poster reveals a city often seen only from the highway: the curve of the Tietê, the dense residential hillsides and the long transport corridors that tie it to São Paulo. It suits people who grew up here, commuters who know its stations, and anyone who prefers the real texture of a working city.
The river runs through the city alongside rail and road corridors, forming a strong central line with neighbourhoods rising on either side.
Dense residential districts climb the slopes around the river valley, their streets curving and branching as they follow the uneven terrain.
The Castelo Branco highway crosses the city on its way west into the interior of São Paulo state, a long, clean line across the map.

Why Osasco
Osasco is often overshadowed by its giant neighbour, but it has its own identity, workplaces and loyal residents. A map of its streets reflects that local pride and makes a thoughtful gift for family and friends.
Add your own title and subtitle, perhaps a bairro name or a special date, and edit the coordinates line. Choose from five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, as $9 digital files or a matte printed poster.
