Enugu-Ukwu is a town in Anambra State in southeastern Nigeria, part of the Njikoka area not far from Awka, the state capital. From above it forms a spread-out settlement rather than a single dense core, with roads and paths linking compounds, markets and churches across gently rolling land.
Like many Igbo towns, Enugu-Ukwu is made up of several villages that together form one community, and this structure is visible on the map as clusters of streets joined by longer connecting roads. Farmland and patches of trees remain between the built areas.
