Tanjungtiram Map Poster & Print
Tanjungtiram lies on the eastern coast of North Sumatra, facing the Strait of Malacca. From above, the coastline is the defining line. It is low and uneven, broken by estuaries and tidal creeks that wind inland through mangrove and swampy ground before reaching the town's streets.
Life here has long depended on the sea. Fishing boats work these shallow coastal waters, and settlements along this shore tend to grow close to river mouths, where boats can shelter and land their catch. That shows on the map as clusters of streets pressed against waterways, thinning out as they head inland toward farmland and plantations.
A Tanjungtiram map poster draws the meeting of land and water in clean black lines. The irregular shoreline and the curving creeks give the design its character, and the town's modest street grid anchors it. The finished piece feels coastal and grounded.
