The map

About this Greater Noida map poster

Greater Noida was developed from the 1990s as a planned extension of Noida, east of Delhi in Uttar Pradesh. Its map is spacious and regular. Large sectors are divided by wide roads and separated by generous green belts, and many are named after Greek letters such as Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta. Compared with older Indian cities, density is low and the geometry is deliberate.

Pari Chowk, a large roundabout, serves as a central hub where several main roads meet. From here the Yamuna Expressway runs south-east toward Agra, while the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway links back to Noida and Delhi. Universities, industrial zones and residential towers fill the sectors, and much of the land around them is still farmed and shows as open space.

The city hosts the India Expo Centre and Mart, and the nearby Buddh International Circuit held the Indian Formula One Grand Prix from 2011 to 2013. A Greater Noida map poster captures a new city still filling in its plan. The framework of roads is complete, and the blocks within it are gradually being built out.

Greek-letter sectors

Residential sectors carry names like Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta. This distinctive touch sets the city apart and makes a natural subtitle for the people who live there.

02

Pari Chowk

The large central roundabout forms a clear circle where major roads converge. It is one of the few curved shapes in an otherwise rectilinear plan.

03

Yamuna Expressway

This straight, fast road to Agra leaves the city to the south-east. It runs past the Formula One circuit and the new development zones along its edges.

Why Greater Noida

A map that means something

Many residents of Greater Noida are the first people to live in their sector, in homes bought or rented in recent years. A map of the city is a fitting way to mark that start, whether it hangs in a new flat or goes as a gift to family who helped make the move possible.

You can change the title and subtitle, perhaps to your sector's name, and set the coordinates line to your address. There are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. The HD files cost $9, and printed or framed versions ship from partners in many countries.
