About this Hebao map poster
Hebao lies in the western part of Chongqing municipality, in the rolling hill country of the Sichuan Basin. The landscape here is a patchwork of low hills, valleys and farmland, and the town sits within it as a compact cluster of streets at the meeting point of several roads.
From above, the countryside around Hebao is intricately divided. Terraced fields curve along the hillsides, small reservoirs and ponds fill the hollows, and narrow roads wind between villages. The town's built-up area, with its denser streets and larger buildings, stands out as a small solid shape within this finely patterned land.
A Hebao map poster presents that contrast between a compact town and a richly textured rural setting. The curving terraces and scattered ponds make a delicate backdrop, and the town gives the composition its focus. It is a thoughtful map for people with roots in this part of Chongqing.
