Han River bank
The Han runs along the eastern side of the area, wide and gently curving. It gives the poster its main natural line and separates this side of the city from the districts towards the sea.

The map
Hòa Cường is an urban area in the Hải Châu district of Da Nang, just south of the city centre. From above it is a closely built grid of residential streets on flat ground, with the Han River running along its eastern side and the open land of the airport lying to the west. The river gives the map a strong, curving edge.
Da Nang is known for its series of bridges over the Han, which connect the older centre with the beach districts on the eastern side. Several of those crossings lie within easy reach of Hòa Cường, and the riverfront has become a place for evening walks as the city has expanded southwards.
A Hòa Cường map poster works as a close-up of a fast-growing city: straight streets meeting the curve of the river, larger roads leading north to the centre, and new blocks filling what not long ago was open ground. In monochrome, the river becomes a clean white band against the density of the neighbourhood.
The Han runs along the eastern side of the area, wide and gently curving. It gives the poster its main natural line and separates this side of the city from the districts towards the sea.
Streets here are laid out in fairly regular blocks, many of them recent. On the map they create an even, rectangular pattern that contrasts with the river's flowing edge.
West of the neighbourhood, the built-up area gives way to the large open space of Da Nang airport. At a wider scale, that pale area frames the composition.

Why Hòa Cường
Hòa Cường is a neighbourhood people live in rather than pass through, so a map of it often marks something personal: a first flat, a family home, a few years spent in Da Nang. It makes a thoughtful gift for someone who has moved away.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised with a street, a name or a date. Choose from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and order a digital HD file or a printed poster.
