The map
Maladziečna lies in Minsk Region, northwest of the Belarusian capital. It is an important railway junction, and on a map the tracks are its most striking feature: several lines meet here and fan out in different directions, dividing the town into distinct sections connected by crossings and bridges.
The small Usha River winds through the area, with green space along its banks, and the town's streets combine older patterns with the broad avenues and apartment blocks of postwar planning. The composer and statesman Michał Kleofas Ogiński lived at his estate in nearby Zalesse, and Maladziečna hosts a well-known national festival of song and poetry.
A Maladziečna map poster shows how the railway organises everything around it, with the river adding a softer line through the middle. It is a good fit for people from the town, for railway enthusiasts, and for anyone who wants a clear, unsentimental picture of a place they know well.
Lines from several directions meet at the town's station, and the long curves of track and sidings form a bold, recognisable structure on the map.
The river's winding course and the parkland beside it cut through the town, adding an organic line among the straighter streets and blocks.
Wide avenues and large residential blocks from the Soviet period give parts of the town a regular, open layout that prints cleanly in black and white.

Why Maladziečna
Maladziečna is a town people leave for study or work in Minsk and abroad, and keep coming back to. A map of its tracks, river and streets is a quiet way to hold on to that, clear enough to read at a glance from across a room.
Add your own title and a subtitle with a name or date, and adjust the coordinates if you like. Choose one of five styles, from Classic black & white to Noir or Blueprint, and download six print sizes for $9 or order a framed print.
