The map
Nandyāl lies in the western part of Andhra Pradesh, in a broad agricultural basin of the Rayalaseema region. On a map the town appears as a compact knot of streets surrounded by open farmland, with highways and a railway line radiating outward to neighbouring towns and villages.
The land around it is largely flat and cultivated, crossed by small streams and irrigation channels, while the long ridges of the Nallamala forest rise to the east. That contrast between the dense town and the wide fields gives the map a clear centre and a spacious surrounding field of lines.
The town became the headquarters of a new Nandyāl district in 2022, and the area is known for pilgrimage sites in the nearby hills, including the Mahanandi temple. A Nandyāl map poster keeps the focus on the town itself: its central streets, its roads and railway, and the farmland that frames them.
A tight cluster of streets marks the centre, where older lanes and markets gather, clearly separated from the fields that surround the town.
Highways and a railway line leave the town in several directions, drawing long lines that connect it to the surrounding farmland and district.
Beyond the plain, the forested Nallamala range forms the region's backdrop, marking the edge of the flat agricultural landscape around the town.
