The map
Oued Zem is in Khouribga Province, in central Morocco, on the high plateau known for its phosphate deposits. Its map shows a dense centre of closely packed streets, with more regular blocks around it and main roads leading out across flat, open country. The railway that serves the phosphate region adds another long line to the composition.
The town is linked in Moroccan memory to the uprisings of August 1955 against French rule, one of the key moments of the independence struggle. Today it is a regional market and service centre for the surrounding farmland, and part of the wider phosphate economy centred on nearby Khouribga.
An Oued Zem map poster reflects a place shaped by its plateau setting. The streets gather tightly in the centre and loosen toward the edges, where fields and roads take over. The flat landscape gives the network clarity, making the map easy to read and well suited to a minimal black-and-white design.

Main roads head out across the flat plateau in long, straight lines, linking the town to Khouribga, Beni Mellal and other regional centres.
The railway serving the phosphate region passes by the town, adding a strong line that stands apart from the road network on the map.

Why Oued Zem
Oued Zem is a hometown for many Moroccans who have moved to larger cities or abroad. A map of its streets can be personalised with a family name, a neighbourhood or a date, and makes a considered gift for relatives or friends from the region.
The dense centre looks sharp in Classic black and white and Noir. Sand suits the warm tones of the plateau, while Paper and Blueprint offer lighter or cooler alternatives. All five styles are available, each with the same detail and clarity.
