About this Pankshin map poster
Pankshin is a town in Plateau State in central Nigeria, set on the uplands of the Jos Plateau. The elevation gives the area a cooler climate than the surrounding lowlands and a landscape of hills, rocky outcrops and open grassland. On a map, the town's streets follow this uneven ground, curving around slopes rather than keeping to straight lines.
The centre is a cluster of roads and compounds, with main routes leading out toward other towns on the plateau. Beyond the built-up area the pattern becomes sparse, with tracks crossing farmland and hill country. Pankshin serves as a local administrative and market centre for the surrounding district.
A Pankshin map poster reflects its highland setting: irregular streets, roads that wind between hills, and a clear centre that gradually gives way to the countryside. It is a simple, honest picture of a plateau town, useful for people who know it well and want a quiet reminder of its layout.

Main routes
Roads leaving Pankshin connect it to other plateau towns, forming long lines that cross the poster and anchor the smaller street network.
Open highlands
Around the town, settlement thins into farmland and hills, so the built-up centre stands out against a wide, lightly marked landscape.
