The map

About this Pennsauken map poster

Pennsauken is set on the Delaware River, directly across from north-east Philadelphia. On the map, the riverbank forms its western edge, and Pennsauken Creek traces much of its northern boundary. Between the two, highways, rail lines and a steady weave of suburban streets fill the township, with industrial land closer to the water and housing further inland.

The Betsy Ross Bridge lands in Pennsauken, and its approach roads create one of the most distinctive shapes in the plan. Major routes such as Route 130 and Route 73 run through the township, so Pennsauken reads as a well-connected crossroads between Camden County towns and the city across the river.

A Pennsauken map poster captures that position between river and suburb. The broad water on one side, the bridge crossing toward Philadelphia and the dense residential grid on the other give the composition a strong sense of direction, pulling your eye from the neighbourhood streets toward the river.

Delaware riverfront

The township's western side faces the Delaware River. On the poster, the wide water gives the map a firm edge with Philadelphia's streets visible on the far bank.

02

Betsy Ross Bridge

This bridge connects Pennsauken to Philadelphia. Its long span and looping ramps form a clear graphic element in the fine street pattern.

03

Pennsauken Creek

The creek winds along the northern edge of the township, a soft natural line that separates it from its neighbours along a green corridor.
