The map
Perintalmanna is a town in the Malappuram district of Kerala, and from above it looks like a junction that became a town. Several main roads meet in the centre, where the commercial streets are tightest. From there, smaller lanes branch outward across uneven, well-planted land where houses sit among gardens and trees rather than in rows.
The town is known across the region as a busy commercial and medical centre, drawing people from surrounding villages. Kerala's landscape shapes the map: no strict grid, but roads that follow ridges and slopes, with water channels and paddy land in the lower ground.
A Perintalmanna map poster shows that organic structure well. The converging main roads form a star-like centre, and the fine network of lanes fans out into the countryside with a hand-drawn quality. It is the pattern of a place that grew along paths rather than being laid out on paper.

Narrow lanes spread from the main roads into residential areas, bending with the land. Their irregular, tree-like pattern fills much of the frame.
Between the higher ground, lower strips hold paddy fields and water channels. They appear as quieter, open areas that break up the network of roads.

Why Perintalmanna
Perintalmanna is home, or the hometown, for many families in Kerala and in the Gulf. A map of the streets keeps that place in view: the road into town, the junction everyone knows, the lanes that lead back to one particular house.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised with a family name or a special date. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 digital files cover six print sizes, and matte printed posters are available too.
