The map
Sabana de Parra is a town in Yaracuy, one of Venezuela's smaller states, set in the fertile valley country between the coastal mountains and the plains to the south. From above it appears as a modest, compact settlement, its streets meeting at simple right angles before giving way to fields, tracks and scattered rural homes.
The surrounding landscape is predominantly agricultural, and on a map the difference between town and country is easy to read: dense blocks at the centre, then a looser web of roads connecting farms and neighbouring communities. The name itself, with its reference to a sabana, hints at the open, level ground on which the town was built.
A Sabana de Parra map poster is a small, personal portrait rather than a grand city plan. The appeal lies in its simplicity: a handful of streets, a clear main road, and the pattern of land use around them. Printed in black and white, those few lines take on a quiet, almost diagrammatic beauty that suits a place of this scale.
The heart of Sabana de Parra is a short grid of blocks, dense enough to read clearly at poster size and small enough to take in at a glance.
Roads leave the town toward neighbouring communities in Yaracuy, forming the longest lines on the map and linking the centre to the wider valley.
Around the built-up area the map opens into fields and rural tracks, giving the composition generous white space and a sense of the level land.
