The map
Senta lies in northern Serbia, in the province of Vojvodina, on the western bank of the Tisa River. The surrounding land is the flat floor of the Pannonian Basin, and from above the town appears as a dense core near the water with long roads radiating into a patchwork of large, rectangular fields.
The river gives a Senta map poster its defining edge. The Tisa curves along the eastern side of the town, flanked by flood defences and the wooded strips typical of the lowland rivers here. Inland, the street pattern shifts from the older, slightly irregular centre to wider, straighter blocks of houses with long back gardens.
Senta is best known for the Battle of Zenta in 1697, when forces led by Prince Eugene of Savoy defeated an Ottoman army at the river crossing, a turning point that led to the Treaty of Karlowitz. Today the town has a Hungarian-speaking majority, and its bilingual character is part of everyday life.
The broad river traces the town's eastern flank, and its meanders and embankments make a strong natural border against the finer lines of the streets.
Main roads leave the centre toward neighbouring towns across the plain, giving the map a gentle star shape that is common to settlements of the region.
Around the built-up area, the land is divided into long rectangular plots, a geometric frame that shows how intensively this plain has been farmed.

Why Senta
Senta suits someone with roots in Vojvodina or family ties to the Hungarian community along the Tisa. The river line and the calm geometry of the plain give the poster a quiet, balanced composition.
Add a personal title, a subtitle with a name or a date, and a coordinates line. The map comes in five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
