The map
Seregno lies in the Brianza, the heavily built-up belt of Lombardy between Milan and Lake Como. From above, it is hard to tell where one town ends and the next begins. Streets run from one municipality into another with few gaps, while the older centre stands out as a tighter knot of irregular blocks around its main church and squares.
The railway between Milan and the Swiss border passes through the town, and the straight line of the tracks is one of the clearest features on the map. The Brianza has long been associated with furniture-making and small manufacturing. That history shows in the mix of houses, workshops and larger industrial footprints that sit side by side across the district.
A Seregno map poster separates this complicated fabric into a readable drawing. The historic core, the rail line and the radial roads leading to neighbouring towns each become distinct. It is a portrait of a very Lombard kind of place: productive, closely built and linked to everything around it.
The Milan–Chiasso line runs straight through the town. Its unbroken diagonal divides the street pattern and gives the composition a strong structural axis.
The old core shows as a small cluster of irregular blocks and short streets, noticeably denser than the more regular residential areas around it.
Toward the map's edges, Seregno's streets merge with those of neighbouring towns. This shows how closely settled this part of Lombardy has become.

Why Seregno
For people from the Brianza, a map of Seregno recognises a place that is often overshadowed by Milan. It traces the routes of daily life, including the station, the centre and the roads out to nearby towns, in one calm image.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be edited to mark a family home, a business or a date. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to suit the space.
