The map
Sindi sits on the broad plain of eastern Maharashtra, where the soil is dark and cotton is a major crop. From above, the town is compact. Its streets gather around a central market area, and roads lead out across fields divided into long, narrow plots. The flat ground gives the network few obstacles, so the lines run relatively straight until they reach the farmland.
The town belongs to Wardha district in the Vidarbha region, an area shaped by cotton trade and processing. A railway line passes nearby and links the district to Nagpur and the wider network. On a map, the rail corridor and the main roads form the frame, while a looser mesh of lanes fills the residential blocks between them.
A Sindi map poster suits people who like understated maps. There is no coastline or dramatic river here. Instead, there's a quiet balance between a small, dense centre and the regular field pattern of Vidarbha, which gives the design an even, grounded rhythm.

A railway line runs near the town and connects it to Wardha and Nagpur. Its long, steady line contrasts with the smaller street grid.
Long field boundaries on the black-soil plain surround Sindi. At poster scale they form a subtle pattern of parallel lines around the edges.
