The map

About this Wichian Buri map poster

Wichian Buri lies in the southern part of Phetchabun province in central Thailand, in the valley of the Pa Sak River. The valley runs north to south between ranges of hills, and the town sits along the river and the main road that runs through it. On a map, its streets form a compact grid that stretches alongside these two long lines.

The surrounding plain is agricultural, with fields and plantations divided by roads and irrigation ditches. Just to the east, in the neighbouring district, is the ancient city of Si Thep. Its moated ruins became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2023 and once belonged to the same administrative area as Wichian Buri.

A Wichian Buri map poster shows a valley town in balance with its river. It has a regular street pattern, the meandering Pa Sak, and roads leading north toward Phetchabun and south toward Lopburi. It is a calm, well-proportioned composition.

01

Pa Sak River

The river winds past the town on its way south. Its loose curves are the most natural line on a map dominated by roads and field boundaries.

02

North–south corridor

The main highway follows the valley, carrying traffic between central and northern Thailand. It forms the town's backbone and the map's strongest axis.

03

Farmland grid

Fields and plantations divide the valley floor into orderly parcels. At poster scale they form a quiet, even texture around the town.

Why Wichian Buri

A map that means something

For people from Phetchabun, or visitors drawn by nearby Si Thep, a map of Wichian Buri marks a particular stretch of the Pa Sak valley. Add a title, a Thai-inspired subtitle in Latin script and a meaningful date.

Paper and Sand give the river valley a soft, natural look, and Classic black & white and Noir are more graphic. Blueprint completes the five styles. All six print sizes are included, from A3 to 24×36 inches.
