Palm groves
Large areas of date palms and farmland surround the city, crossed by irrigation channels and small roads. Around the edges they are drawn as a dense, uneven pattern.

Te mapa
Al Hufūf is the main city of the Al-Ahsa oasis in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province, one of the largest oases in the world. From above, the city sits at the edge of a green expanse of palm groves and farmland that springs have watered for centuries. Beyond the cultivated land, the desert begins abruptly.
The historic centre includes the Qaisariya souk and Ibrahim Palace, a fortified complex with a domed mosque from the Ottoman period. Around them the older street pattern is irregular and compact. Newer districts extend outward in a looser grid of wide roads and large blocks, typical of recent urban growth in the Gulf.
The Al-Ahsa oasis became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2018, recognised for its gardens, canals, springs and archaeological sites, and the nearby Al-Qarah mountain is known for its caves. An Al Hufūf map poster captures the meeting of desert city and cultivated land. The texture of the groves provides a soft counterpoint to the streets.
Large areas of date palms and farmland surround the city, crossed by irrigation channels and small roads. Around the edges they are drawn as a dense, uneven pattern.
The older centre around the souk and Ibrahim Palace has irregular, narrow streets that contrast with the broad grids of the newer districts.
Beyond the cultivated zone, the map opens abruptly into sand and rock. This clear boundary shows how closely the city depends on the oasis.

Koteā ko Al Hufūf
Al Hufūf is a city of deep family roots, and many who have moved to Riyadh, Dammam or abroad keep a strong attachment to the oasis. A map of the city is a respectful, understated way to keep that connection visible at home.
Add a family name, a date or the coordinates of a home, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The warm Sand style suits the oasis landscape. HD files cost $9, and matte prints ship with or without a wooden frame.
