Te mapa
Alto Barinas forms the northern part of the urban area of Barinas, a city in western Venezuela where the Andean foothills meet the vast plains of the Llanos. The terrain is flat and open, so the street pattern spreads easily in broad blocks and long avenues, and the mountains to the north and west are a distant backdrop rather than an obstacle.
Much of the area is residential, arranged on a fairly regular layout of avenues and neighbourhoods that grew as the city expanded beyond its historic centre. On the map this gives Alto Barinas a calm, even texture. Straight lines dominate, and the occasional park or open plot interrupts the rhythm of the blocks.
The surrounding state is known for cattle ranching and agriculture on the Llanos, and rivers coming down from the Andes cross the landscape toward the Orinoco basin. An Alto Barinas map poster shows the neat pattern of this growing district, framed by open land and by the lines of rivers and roads leading into the plains.
Long, straight avenues and rectangular blocks form the main structure, a calm and orderly pattern made possible by the flat terrain of the area.
Beyond the built-up area the map opens onto the plains, where roads and field boundaries stretch out with few interruptions toward the horizon.
Rivers flowing down from the Andes pass near the city, their winding courses and green margins adding soft curves to the geometric streets.

Koteā ko Alto Barinas
Many Venezuelans now live far from home, and a map of the neighbourhood where they grew up can mean a great deal. Personalise the title with Alto Barinas or simply Barinas, add a subtitle with a street or family name, and include a date and coordinates.
The five styles are Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. The $9 digital package includes six sizes, from A3 to 24×36″, as 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF, so the poster can be printed wherever you live.
