Cabudare Map Poster & Print

Cabudare lies in Lara State in western Venezuela, in the municipality of Palavecino, directly across the Turbio River from Barquisimeto. From above, it reads as a partner to the larger city: bridges and roads cross the river valley and link the two, while Cabudare extends south and east across the land beyond.

The older centre around the main square has a traditional grid of blocks, while newer neighbourhoods and residential developments spread outward along main avenues. Toward the south, the land begins to rise toward the hills, and the streets thin out into rural roads.

Over recent decades, Cabudare has grown rapidly as a residential area for people working in Barquisimeto. A Cabudare map poster shows this relationship clearly: the river corridor in between, the traditional centre, and the newer districts pushing outward.
