Te mapa
Āmli is a census town in Dadra and Nagar Haveli, right next to Silvassa, the district headquarters. The two have grown into each other, and from above the boundary between them is hard to find. The territory sits inland from the Gujarat coast, in country drained by the Damanganga River, and it has changed quickly as industry and housing spread over what used to be farmland and woodland.
The map shows a mix of patterns. Older lanes form tight, irregular blocks, while newer residential areas and industrial estates are laid out on straighter, more regular plots. Main roads lead out towards Vapi and the national highway corridor. Green space and fields remain at the edges, and waterways wind through the wider landscape.
An Āmli map poster records a town caught mid-growth, where old settlement and new estates sit side by side in the same frame. In monochrome, the contrast between dense lanes and larger rectangular plots becomes the main visual interest. It is a clear, unfussy portrait of a place many people know through work as much as through home.
Āmli merges with neighbouring Silvassa, so the street network carries on without a clear break and forms one continuous urban area on the map.
Larger, regular rectangles mark the industrial estates. Their simple blocks contrast clearly with the finer, irregular lanes of the older residential areas.
The wider area is drained by the Damanganga and its tributaries. Water and fields give the edges of the map a softer, open texture.
