Te mapa
Ankazoabo lies in the Atsimo-Andrefana region of southwestern Madagascar, well inland from the coast around Toliara. It is one of the more remote towns of the island's dry southwest, a landscape of savanna, scrub and seasonal watercourses where settlements are spaced far apart. On the map the town appears as a compact cluster of streets surrounded by wide, largely empty ground.
As the seat of its district, Ankazoabo serves as a market and administrative centre for a large rural area. Roads and tracks converge on the town from surrounding villages, and many of them remain unpaved, making travel dependent on the season. The map reflects this role: a small core of streets, with routes radiating outward into the countryside.
An Ankazoabo map poster is spare by nature, and that is its strength. Rather than dense blocks, it shows a small settlement set against a large open landscape, with a few lines leading away toward distant villages. For anyone with a connection to this corner of Madagascar, the simplicity of the image feels honest and true to the place.
The town's streets form a small, tight cluster, the densest part of the map and the point where local routes and market activity come together.
Roads and tracks lead out from the centre in several directions, thin lines connecting Ankazoabo with villages across the surrounding district.
Around the town, the map stays largely empty, reflecting the wide, sparsely settled landscape of savanna and scrub that characterises the dry southwest.

Koteā ko Ankazoabo
Many people from southern Madagascar live far from their home district, in Toliara, Antananarivo or abroad. A map of Ankazoabo keeps the shape of that home visible, a reminder of family and origin that needs no explanation.
You can set the title, subtitle and coordinates line, adding a family name, a date or a short message. Choose among Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand; Sand is a natural match for the warm tones of the southwestern landscape.
