Te mapa
Ban Chang lies in Rayong province on the Gulf of Thailand, in the industrial and coastal region known as the Eastern Seaboard. On the map, the coastline forms a long, smooth edge to the south, and the town extends inland from the beach along a network of roads connecting it with Rayong and Pattaya.
The area is home to U-Tapao International Airport, whose long runway appears as one of the clearest forms on the map, a straight line near the coast. Highways and industrial access roads cross the landscape, while residential streets, markets and beachside roads fill the spaces between them.
Ban Chang combines several identities at once: coastal town, airport community and part of a major industrial zone. A Ban Chang map poster brings them together, showing the coast, the runway and the town that grew around them.
The airport’s long runway sits near the coast as a sharp, straight shape, one of the most striking lines anywhere on the map.
A long sandy shore forms the southern edge of the town, a clean boundary between the dense land and the open water of the gulf.
Major highways and industrial roads cross the area in long lines, linking Ban Chang with Rayong, Pattaya and the wider region.

Ban Chang is meaningful to people who live and work on the Eastern Seaboard, to aviation staff at U-Tapao and to anyone who has spent time on this stretch of coast. The runway and shoreline give the map a strong, simple structure.
