Te mapa
Banigbé is in the Plateau department of south-eastern Benin, close to the border with Nigeria. This is a gently rolling region of red earth, farmland and oil palm plantations. On the map, the town appears as a modest cluster of homes and streets, linked by roads and tracks to the villages around it.
Banigbé has no formal street grid. It has grown organically, with lanes following the lie of the land and linking family compounds, markets and fields. The main road gives the clearest structure, while paths branch out in every direction, creating a fine, irregular network that fills the frame.
The Plateau department is home to Yoruba-speaking communities and others whose ties cross the nearby border, and daily life here is closely linked to farming and regional trade. A Banigbé map poster captures that rural setting clearly, turning roads, paths and small clusters of buildings into a restrained, graphic design.
A principal road runs through the town, a clear line that ties Banigbé to neighbouring communities and gives the map its main axis.
Small villages and hamlets dot the surrounding land, linked by tracks that spread across the frame like fine, branching threads.
Fields and oil palm groves fill the spaces between settlements, printed as quiet open areas that give the design room to breathe.
