Te mapa
Beloyarsky is a town in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug of western Siberia, on the Kazym river. It was founded in the late 1960s as a base for building and servicing major gas pipelines, and it remains connected with the gas transmission industry that runs through this part of Russia.
That planned origin shows clearly on the map. The town is a compact arrangement of residential blocks and straight streets, set on a bend of the river and surrounded by a vast landscape of forest, bogs, lakes and meandering channels typical of the West Siberian lowland.
A Beloyarsky map poster contrasts the regular, deliberate shape of the town with the loose, winding forms of the northern landscape around it. In black and white, the river and wetlands become fine lines and patterns, while the town reads as a single built mark.
The town sits on the Kazym, whose curves and side channels run past the built-up area and dominate the natural part of the map.
Laid out from the late 1960s, the town is made of regular blocks and straight streets that stand out against the surrounding terrain.
Forest, bogs and small lakes surround the town in every direction, giving the edges of the poster a fine, scattered texture.

Koteā ko Beloyarskiy
For people who have lived or worked in Beloyarsky, often in the gas industry, the map captures a northern home in a clean, graphic form. It works well as a reminder of a place far from anywhere else.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with the years you spent there. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, as HD files or a printed poster.
