Boryspil Map Poster & Print

Boryspil lies east of Kyiv, on the left-bank side of the Dnipro, on flat land. It is known above all for Boryspil International Airport, the country's largest, located just northwest of the town. On the map, the long runways are the most prominent feature, straight lines that dominate everything around them.

The town itself is made up of a central area of apartment blocks and public buildings, surrounded by neighbourhoods of private houses with gardens. A main highway toward Kyiv passes by, and the roads connecting the airport, town and capital form clear corridors through the landscape.

Around Boryspil, fields, woods and small rivers break up the plain. A Boryspil map poster shows the relationship between a working town and its airport, with the dense centre, the smaller house plots and the long runways all on one sheet.

For many Ukrainians, Boryspil is where journeys begin and end, with departures, returns and reunions at the airport. For residents, it is simply home. A map of the town carries both meanings.
