Te mapa
Bugo is a district on the eastern side of Cagayan de Oro in Northern Mindanao, on the southern shore of Macajalar Bay. From above, its shape follows the coast. Streets run roughly parallel to the waterline, the main highway passes through, and housing and industrial sites extend inland from the shore toward rising green ground.
The area has a long association with pineapple processing, with a large cannery handling fruit from the plantations of the Bukidnon uplands to the south. Port facilities and industrial buildings along the shore sit alongside residential neighbourhoods, so the map combines large, blocky footprints with finer patterns of streets and lanes.
A Bugo map poster is a portrait of a working coastline. The curve of Macajalar Bay gives the composition its clearest edge, and the linear settlement along it creates a strong horizontal rhythm. The result is a pleasing contrast between open sea and a dense, busy shore, simple enough to read from across a room.
The coastline forms the dominant edge of the map, with open water filling one side of the frame and the district running along its length.
The main road east from central Cagayan de Oro passes through Bugo, a long line parallel to the shore that ties the district together.
Large processing and port sites near the shore appear as broad, simple shapes, contrasting with the fine lattice of residential streets behind them.
