Mangrove channels
Hundreds of tidal waterways branch through the forest. On the poster they create a delicate, tree-like pattern that fills most of the frame.

Te mapa
Cần Giờ is Ho Chi Minh City's coastal district, located between the estuaries of large rivers that flow into the South China Sea. From above, most of the district is mangrove forest cut by countless tidal channels. The pattern of branching waterways looks almost like the veins of a leaf, and it is unlike any other part of the city.
The mangrove forest is protected as a UNESCO biosphere reserve and was replanted after heavy damage during the war. The main town lies on the coast at the southern end of the district, where a small grid of streets faces the sea. A single main road runs north through the forest and links it to the rest of the city.
A Cần Giờ map poster is one of the most unusual maps of Ho Chi Minh City you can have: the intricate network of channels, a long straight road through the mangroves, and a compact town on the shore. It is detailed but calm, and the waterways give the paper a distinctive organic texture.

The main town sits on the shore of the South China Sea. Its small street grid is the densest part of the map.

Koteā ko Cần Giờ
Cần Giờ is where people from Ho Chi Minh City go to leave the city behind: a day at the beach, a boat trip through the mangroves or a visit to family. A map captures that sense of space in a clear, graphic form.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, including Vietnamese diacritics. Choose from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The Blueprint style works especially well for the waterways. The HD files cost $9.
