Three water edges
The Saigon River, the Bến Nghé channel and the Kênh Tẻ canal wrap the district on all sides, giving it a clean, almost island-like outline.

Te mapa
Quận Bốn, long known as District 4 of Ho Chi Minh City, is one of the most clearly defined neighbourhoods on any map of the city. It forms a rough triangle bounded by water: the Saigon River on one side, the Bến Nghé channel facing District 1, and the Kênh Tẻ canal to the south. Bridges at its edges link it to the rest of the city.
The area grew up around the port of Khánh Hội, and wharves and warehouses once lined its riverbank. Nhà Rồng, the old Dragon House Wharf, now a museum, stands at its northern tip; this is where Ho Chi Minh left Vietnam in 1911. Inside the triangle the streets are dense and tight, with narrow alleys packed between the main roads.
A Quận Bốn map poster is almost a portrait of an island. Water frames all three sides, the bridges point toward the centre of Saigon, and the small scale lets the fine lattice of alleys show in real detail.
The Saigon River, the Bến Nghé channel and the Kênh Tẻ canal wrap the district on all sides, giving it a clean, almost island-like outline.
The historic wharf building sits where the channel meets the river, at the point closest to District 1, marking the old heart of the port.
Between the main streets, dense networks of narrow hẻm alleys fill each block, making a finely textured pattern that is typical of old Saigon.

Koteā ko Quận Bốn
Quận Bốn is small enough to know by heart. Former residents, dock workers' families and anyone who crossed its bridges every day will recognise its outline immediately, and it makes an unusual, graphic print for a Saigon home.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, using the old district name or a street address, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. It comes as a $9 digital file or a printed poster.
