Te mapa
Gò Vấp covers part of the north of inner Ho Chi Minh City, and from above it has one of the most intricate street patterns in the metropolis. A handful of main roads carry traffic in and out. Between them lies a fine web of lanes and alleys that branch, bend and dead-end, packing homes and small businesses into every block.
Its edges are sharply drawn. The runways and grounds of Tan Son Nhat International Airport lie just to the southwest, a large empty shape against the dense city. The Vàm Thuật River winds along the eastern side, fed by canals and smaller channels, and a few green spaces break up an otherwise continuous residential fabric.
A Gò Vấp map poster looks almost like woven cloth: thousands of thin lines laced between the main roads, with the airport and the river as clean contrast. Few places show as clearly how a Vietnamese city grows through its hẻm, the alleys where everyday life actually happens.
Behind the main roads, hẻm branch in every direction, many barely wide enough for a motorbike. On the map they create an extremely fine and irregular texture.
The open ground of Tan Son Nhat lies to the southwest, a large clear shape that makes the density of the neighbourhood streets stand out even more.
A winding river traces the eastern side of the area. Its bends and small canals separate Gò Vấp from neighbouring parts of the city and soften the edge of the map.

Koteā ko Gò Vấp
A large share of Saigon's families, students and workers call Gò Vấp home, and many who move abroad remember it by one particular alley and the walk out to the main road. A map of the area holds that memory in a single detailed view.
You can put your street, ward or family name in the title and subtitle, keep or edit the coordinates line, and pick one of five styles. Noir works well for such a dense pattern, while Paper feels warmer. HD files are $9, and printed posters are available too.
