Te mapa
Carinhanha lies on the west bank of the São Francisco River in south-western Bahia, close to where the Carinhanha River joins it. That tributary forms part of the boundary between Bahia and Minas Gerais, so the town stands at a meeting point of waters and of states, and both rivers shape how it appears on a map.
The São Francisco is wide here, with islands, sandbanks and a broad floodplain, and the town's streets run parallel to the waterfront before extending inland in a fairly regular pattern. Like many river towns in the region, Carinhanha grew around its connection to the São Francisco, historically a key route through the Brazilian interior.
A Carinhanha map poster draws strength from its water. The great river provides a broad, irregular edge, the tributary adds a second curving line, and the town fills the ground between them with a neat grid. The combination gives a small place a composed, almost graphic look in a minimal style.

Carinhanha speaks to anyone with ties to the São Francisco valley, where river towns have long shaped family histories. The meeting of two rivers makes the map both personal and visually strong.
