Condado is in Sancti Spíritus Province in central Cuba, in the countryside northeast of the colonial city of Trinidad. The land here rises gradually toward the Escambray mountains. On the map, the settlement appears as a modest cluster of streets connected to the wider region by rural roads.
The surrounding area has a long history of sugar cultivation, and the fields, tracks and streams around Condado reflect that agricultural landscape. The street network is simple: a few main lanes, some cross streets, and paths leading out into the farmland and toward the hills.
