Te mapa
Cunco is a town in Chile's Araucanía Region, where the central valley begins to rise toward the Andes. The map shows a compact grid of streets in rolling farmland, with a river running close by and roads leading east toward the mountains. Fields and patches of forest surround the town, and the land becomes steeper and wilder toward the east.
The commune extends into lake country. Lakes and the slopes of Llaima volcano lie to the east, and Cunco has long been a gateway for travellers heading toward Conguillío National Park and the lakes beyond. The town itself stays modest: a regular grid, a main square and roads that connect it to Temuco and the foothill settlements.
A Cunco map poster shows the meeting point between the agricultural valley and the southern Andes: a small, orderly grid set against an increasingly rugged landscape. The region is part of the historic Mapuche homeland, and many local place names still come from Mapudungun.
Cunco's centre is a regular grid arranged around a main square. On the poster it forms a compact block within the surrounding farmland.
A river runs near the town, curving through fields and wooded banks. It adds a flowing organic line that softens the straight streets.
Routes lead east toward the lakes and volcanoes of the Andean foothills. On the map they stretch out from the town like lines pointing toward the mountains.

Koteā ko Cunco
For people from Araucanía, or travellers who passed through Cunco on the way to Llaima and the lakes, this map marks the start of the mountain journey. It is a calm, clear piece for a home or cabin.
You can set your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps marking a trip or a family home. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Paper suits the rural setting nicely.
