Te mapa
Daanbantayan covers the far northern end of Cebu Island in the Philippines. On the map, the island narrows here into its last stretch of land. The town centre sits near the coast, a coastal road runs past fishing settlements, and the interior rises gently in patches of farmland. The water around it takes up much of the frame and sets the tone.
The municipality includes Malapascua, a small island off the northern shore that divers know for thresher sharks, which can be seen at a nearby shoal in the early morning. Boats cross from the mainland to the island, and much of the local economy still depends on the sea, from fishing to small-scale tourism.
A Daanbantayan map poster works as a portrait of land's end. The Cebu coastline tapers toward the top of the frame, Malapascua floats offshore as a separate small shape, and a thin web of roads links the barangays along the coast. The print is light and open, with plenty of water around it.
A small, low island lies off the northern coast, with a narrow outline and a few short paths. It appears on the print as a clear, separate form surrounded by open sea.
The main island narrows to its end here, so the map shows coast on several sides, a shape that is rare and easy to recognise.
A single main road follows the shoreline and connects the town centre with scattered coastal villages, giving the composition a gentle, continuous line.

Koteā ko Daanbantayan
Daanbantayan is often remembered through a trip, especially a dive trip to Malapascua or time spent on a northern Cebu beach. A map of the island's tip keeps that memory in a simple, graphic form.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with the dates of your trip or the name of a dive, then choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint and Sand suit this coastal shape well.
