Te mapa
Deba is the headquarters of a Local Government Area in Gombe State, in northeastern Nigeria, to the east of the state capital. It lies on the open savanna, where farmland and grassland stretch in every direction with scattered trees. From above, the town is a cluster of streets and compounds around a central area where the main roads come together, with the densest building near the market and administrative buildings.
Farming is central to life in the area, with seasonal crops planted in the fields around the town. Roads connect Deba to Gombe and to the villages of the LGA. Beyond the centre, houses and compounds gradually thin out into fields, so the edge of the town is soft and changes with the seasons and the harvest.
A Deba map poster shows the layout of a northern Nigerian town clearly: a dense core, streets running off it and wide, open country beyond. In a minimal black-and-white style, the pattern becomes calm and graphic. It suits people with roots in Gombe State who live in Abuja, Lagos or abroad and want to keep a picture of home.
The densest streets and buildings are gathered around the town centre and market, which form the heart of the map.
Main roads leave the town toward Gombe and surrounding communities, forming the lines that structure the settlement on the page.
Open fields and grassland surround the town. The broad empty space around Deba gives the print a clear, uncrowded composition.
