Te mapa
Dededo covers a large part of northern Guam and has more residents than any other village on the island. From above, it looks nothing like a compact town centre. Roads branch across a broad limestone plateau, with housing subdivisions set among patches of green. Toward the west, the land ends abruptly in cliffs above the Philippine Sea, a hard edge on an otherwise loose map.
The street pattern tells the story of a place that grew outward rather than upward. Main roads carry traffic north and south, and quieter lanes curl into residential pockets and cul-de-sacs. Large open parcels and wooded areas remain between them. The result is a spacious map with room to breathe, very different from the tight grids of older towns.
Dededo is known across the island for its weekend flea market and for its shopping centres, which draw people from every village. A Dededo Village map poster turns this sprawling northern district into a clear composition of roads, coastline and open land. It is a picture of everyday Guam, centred on where people actually live, shop and drive.
The plateau drops to the sea along Dededo's western edge. On the poster, the coastline forms a firm boundary against the open water, anchoring the spread of streets inland.
Main routes run through the village, and side roads fork into residential tracts. This branching pattern gives the map an organic, tree-like structure instead of a formal grid.
Undeveloped land and scrub forest sit between the neighbourhoods. These blank spaces make the drawing airy and show how much of northern Guam is still shaped by its landscape.

Koteā ko Dededo Village
A map of Dededo means home to many families on Guam and to people who were stationed or worked on the island. It keeps the shape of a familiar neighbourhood close, even from the other side of the Pacific, and it makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who has left the island.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a family name, a street or a date that matters. Five styles are available: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, so the poster can sit comfortably in a bright room or against a darker wall.
