Te mapa
Dharapuram lies in Tiruppur district in western Tamil Nadu, on the Amaravathi River. The river is the main feature on its map. It curves along the town, and the built area spreads out from it in a dense network of narrow streets. Farther from the centre, blocks become looser and roads lead out across the plain toward surrounding villages.
The town is an old regional centre in the Kongu region, an area known for agriculture and textiles. Temples and market streets in the older part of town give the centre a close-grained pattern, while the main highways connect it with Tiruppur, Palani and other nearby towns.
A Dharapuram map poster shows a river town in a clear, simple form. The Amaravathi's winding course gives the composition a natural curve, the old centre forms a tight, detailed knot, and the radiating roads extend into open farmland. It is a map that rewards close inspection, especially for those who know its streets.
The river curves past the town and brings a long, soft line to the map, with bridges connecting the banks at key points.
Near the centre, narrow and irregular streets cluster around temples and markets, forming the most detailed part of the poster.
Main roads leave the town in several directions across the plain toward neighbouring towns and villages in the Kongu region.
