Dublin Map Poster & Print

Dublin is the county seat of Laurens County, in Middle Georgia, on the Oconee River. The map has a clear structure. A gridded downtown with the courthouse square sits near the river, and highways lead out in several directions through wide suburban and rural land.

The Oconee is the main natural feature. It runs past the city, with its wooded floodplain showing as a wide, empty band that separates the urban grid from the land across the water. Bridges cross it in a few places, and the streets around downtown stay close to the orderly pattern of an old Southern county seat.

True to its Irish name, Dublin is known for a St. Patrick's festival that runs for several weeks each March. A Dublin, Georgia map poster shows a small Southern city built around a river, a courthouse and the roads that meet there.

01

Oconee River

The river and its wooded floodplain run past the city. They create a wide, natural divide across the map.

02

Downtown grid

Regular blocks around the courthouse form the historic centre. It is the tidiest, densest part of the composition.

03

Radiating highways

Main roads lead out from downtown toward nearby towns and the interstate. They split the surrounding land into large wedges.
