Te mapa
Seen from above, Eruvādi is a small, dense cluster of lanes in the Tirunelveli countryside of southern Tamil Nadu. The town has no rigid grid. Its streets bend and branch the way old settlements do, pressing close together in the centre before thinning into roads that head out across open farmland.
The town is best known for its dargah, a Sufi shrine that draws pilgrims from across South India and beyond. On a map, the shrine's precinct shows up as a denser knot in the street pattern. Around it, the town's houses, markets and lanes fill a modest footprint, and the surrounding land is mostly fields and irrigation tanks.
An Eruvādi map poster turns that pattern into a quiet study in black and white. The fine lines of the centre stand against the sparse rural roads beyond, so the edges of the frame feel open. It is a small place, and the drawing shows that honestly: a tight core, a few roads out, and space all around.
The shrine that made Eruvādi known to pilgrims sits within the town's densest streets, where lanes tighten and turn around the religious centre that has long shaped the place.
There is no planned grid here. Streets curve and fork at uneven angles, which gives the centre of the map a hand-drawn, organic texture that suits a monochrome print.
Beyond the built-up area, a handful of roads run out across agricultural plains dotted with irrigation tanks, leaving generous white space around the town on the poster.

Koteā ko Eruvādi
For people with family roots in the Tirunelveli region, or those who have made the journey to the shrine, the outline of Eruvādi carries personal weight. A map of the town is a quiet reminder of a place tied to faith, family and return visits.
