Gazakh Map Poster & Print

Gazakh is in the far northwest of Azerbaijan, close to the borders with Georgia and Armenia. It sits where the plains of the Kura basin begin to rise toward the Lesser Caucasus. From above, the town lies on open ground, with orchards and farmland all around and mountains on the southern horizon.

The central streets follow a fairly regular Soviet-era plan, with a few broad avenues and rectangular blocks. Toward the edges, the pattern loosens into lanes between gardens and fields, where streams from the hills run in shallow channels across the plain.

The Gazakh district has a strong literary reputation in Azerbaijan and is often called a land of poets. The poet Samad Vurgun came from a village in the district. A Gazakh map poster shows the town's clear central grid against the quieter agricultural land around it.

01

Central grid

Broad streets and regular blocks form the town centre. This clear, planned structure reads well in monochrome.

02

Garden edges

At the edge of town, streets thin out into lanes between orchards and small plots. The map becomes softer there.

03

Foothill setting

Terrain rising toward the Lesser Caucasus shapes the roads leading south. It hints at the mountains just beyond the edge of the frame.
