Guaxupé Map Poster & Print

Guaxupé lies in the south of Minas Gerais, in one of Brazil's main coffee-growing regions, close to the border with São Paulo state. From above, the town spreads across rolling hills. Its streets curve and step to follow the terrain, and the regular grid of a flat city never quite takes hold.

The town is known across Brazil for coffee. It is the headquarters of Cooxupé, one of the largest coffee cooperatives in the world, which gathers the harvest of thousands of growers in the region. Around the town, the map opens into farmland on the slopes, with rows of plantations and winding rural roads.

A Guaxupé map poster shows a compact centre whose shape is set by the hills. Denser blocks sit in the lower ground, and looser neighbourhoods climb toward the edges. The result is a map with movement and depth rather than a flat checkerboard.

Hillside streets

Streets curve around slopes and follow the valleys. They give the town an organic shape that changes from one neighbourhood to the next.

02

Coffee country

Around the town, rural roads wind through plantation land. This is the landscape behind one of Brazil's best-known coffee cooperatives.

03

Compact centre

The oldest and densest blocks gather on lower ground. They form the darkest, most detailed area at the heart of the print.
