Te mapa
Haimen is a coastal town in Guangdong province, within the Shantou area of eastern Guangdong. As the name, meaning sea gate, suggests, it faces the water. On a map, the shoreline and harbour frame the town, and a tight network of streets gathers behind the waterfront before spreading inland.
The coast here is irregular, with small bays, headlands and harbour works shaping the edge of the land. Fishing and maritime trade have long been part of life in the area, and the harbour appears as sheltered water marked by piers and breakwaters. Inland, the streets become more regular as newer districts extend toward the hills and farmland.
A Haimen map poster shows the town at the point where land and sea meet. In black and white, the coastline becomes one confident line. The dense streets behind it and the open water beyond give the image a clear contrast. It suits anyone who knows the town or its harbour well.
The waterfront and its sheltered harbour define the town's southern side. Piers and breakwaters extend into the water and draw fine lines against the open sea.
Behind the waterfront, the older parts of town form a close-knit web of narrow lanes. On the map they appear as a darker, finely detailed area.
Bays and headlands give this stretch of the Guangdong coast an uneven outline. The shoreline draws a strong, varied line along the poster's edge.

For families from Haimen and the Chaoshan region, many of whom have settled elsewhere in China or overseas, a map of the harbour town is a direct link to home. It is simple, recognisable and personal.
Set your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a family name or a year that matters. Choose from five styles. Blueprint suits the maritime setting, and Classic black & white keeps the coastline sharp.
