Ridge-top roads
Main streets trace the natural ridges and contours, so the map has flowing, curving lines instead of straight blocks. You can read the topography through the road pattern alone.

Te mapa
Ḩalḩūl stands on the high ground just north of Hebron, among the most elevated towns in the West Bank at roughly a thousand metres above sea level. The terrain shapes everything on its map. Roads don't sit on a grid. They wind along ridgelines and bend around the heads of valleys, and houses spread down the slopes in uneven, organic clusters.
The town is known for its vineyards and orchards, and grapes from these hills have long been part of local life. It is also home to a mosque traditionally associated with the prophet Jonah, Nabi Yunus, which gives the older centre a clear point of reference. The main north–south road through the southern West Bank passes along the town.
A Ḩalḩūl map poster shows how a hill town grows. The dense core sits on the heights, and lanes branch outward and downhill into looser fields of streets. White space marks the terraces and agricultural land between them. The drawing is irregular and alive, the opposite of a planned city, and full of quiet detail.
Main streets trace the natural ridges and contours, so the map has flowing, curving lines instead of straight blocks. You can read the topography through the road pattern alone.
The older core, anchored by the Nabi Yunus mosque, forms a tighter knot of lanes that stands out clearly from the wider spread of the town.
Vineyards and orchards on the slopes appear as open white areas between the roads. They give the map a rural rhythm and a sense of the hills around the town.

Koteā ko Ḩalḩūl
For families from Ḩalḩūl, at home or abroad, this map keeps a precise picture of the town's streets and hillsides. It is a way of holding on to a real place in a form that feels considered rather than sentimental.
The title and subtitle can carry the town's name in any spelling you prefer, a family name or a date, and the coordinates line can be adjusted. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
